The brief

Detailing sells on proof, not on adjectives.

Nobody books a paint correction because a website called it "premium." They book it because they can see what the car looked like afterward, understand roughly what it costs them, and reach a person without a fight. That is a short list, and most detailing sites miss at least one item on it.

Joey's problem was not a shortage of skill. It was that the skill lived on a phone camera roll and in the heads of the customers who had already used him. The site needed to put that where a stranger from Somers Point or Brigantine could find it at ten at night.

  • Show the work at a size where the finish is visible.
  • Make the services legible to someone who does not know detailing terms.
  • Put a quote one tap away from every screen.
  • Load fast on a phone, in a driveway, on cell service.
What we built

A services menu, and a straight path to a quote.

Seven services, in plain English

The full menu is laid out so a customer can tell the difference between a clay bar treatment and a ceramic coating without already knowing the trade. Each one says what it does to the car, which is what the customer is actually buying.

  • Interior & exterior detail
  • Ceramic coating
  • Paint correction
  • Steam cleaning
  • Clay bar treatment
  • Odor removal
  • Headlight restoration

Quote requests, with an answer promised

The contact form asks for the vehicle and what the customer wants done, then commits to a quote within 24 hours. Setting that expectation on the page is the difference between a form submission and a person wondering whether anyone read it.

Click-to-call sits alongside it, because plenty of people would simply rather ring 609-277-5255 and describe the problem out loud.

Email on the business's own domain

Quote requests arrive from an address at joeysdetail.com, not from a form service or a personal Gmail. It is a small thing that does a lot of work: replies land in the inbox looking like they came from a business, and they are far less likely to be filtered as spam.

Built to survive a driveway

Phone first, because that is where this audience is. Pages are static and served from a CDN, so they open in under a second on ordinary cell service rather than spinning while somebody stands next to a dirty car deciding whether to bother.

The voice

We kept the line he already used on customers.

"No pressure, no upselling. I tell you what your car needs and what it doesn't." That is Joey's, not ours, and it was already the most persuasive sentence in the business. Our job was to notice it and give it a place on the page, rather than replace it with something that sounded like a marketing department.
